How Close Is AI to Actually Becoming Ultron? A Serious Scientific Investigation.

By Provisium6 min

In Avengers Age of Ultron, Tony Stark accidentally creates a self-aware AI that decides humanity is the problem, builds itself a robot body, and tries to end civilization. This happens over a weekend. It is currently 2026. Robots are doing backflips. Autonomous weapons are deployed in active conflicts. Tesla is rolling humanoid robots into its factories. So we built a scale. The Ultron Scale runs from 1 to 10. One is a Roomba. Ten is a self-aware AI building an army of robot bodies attempting a mass extinction event. In this video we assess the physical robots we actually have, the real intelligence gap between narrow AI and what Ultron could do, the current state of autonomous weapons, what researchers are actually worried about, and our final scientific verdict on exactly where humanity sits right now. Our methodology is rigorous. It is not rigorous. If you want to stay ahead on business, tech, and AI subscribe. We cover the stuff that actually matters.
